The IGR in Gentrol Aerosol provides preventative action, since it disrupts stored product pests' normal development. Hydroprene, the active ingredient, prevents stored product pest larvae from progressing to the pupal stage of development, so the larvae die before they become breeding adults - and future infestations. For crack and crevice applications, use the supplied extension tube and apply to walls voids, hollow table legs, tube iron, and voids.

Drain flies live and breed in the slime that accumulates in drains. You can check for drain flies, by putting an overturned glass over the drain, see if any accumulate under the glass.
